Born in Houston and raised in Hope, New Jersey—yes, Hope is a real place—Sarah Elizabeth Hewitt traded her architect parents’ historic-site tours for the stage after discovering theatre at age ten. Her first role was an orphan pickpocket in Oliver!, proving you have to steal scenes before you can steal the show.

A graduate of the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and the improv programs at UCB and The PIT, Sarah has built a career playing delightfully eccentric women with big hearts, sharp timing, and questionable boundaries. She also performs improv, stand-up, and her own original characters. Sarah was a member of the Boogie Manja sketch teams, Wicked Triplet and EZ Pass, and The PIT’s house improv teams Curmudgeon and Deluxe Edition. Her television credits include The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Girls5eva, and American Horror Story: Delicate.
